 "RR Oval Pan" 2009-09-17

This is a great non stick pan that is great for anything requiring a large skillet type pan. The only down fall is the shape is not conducive to the tradition round burner and often does not cook items evenly.

"this is a must for family cooking" 2009-08-05
By Cindy Gill (Houston)
I recently ordered this 5 quart Rachael Ray pan, nothing sticks to it, heats all areas evenly, great for bacon on Sunday morning, to big family dinners. Clean up is easy, heating pads not needed to maneuver it around. I love to cook, and this pan makes it even better, its an investment i would do all over again. As for the packaging and shipping, that was done very well too, i think i received it 3 or 4 days from the orginal order, very pleased all the way around.

"My Favorite Pan and One of the Best Presents Ever." 2009-07-25
By Sarah Dey Pierro (Bushkill, PA USA)
My boyfriend saw me eyeing this in the store on a few (hundred) occasions and got it for me for christmas. I had not bought it myself because I couldn't see paying that much for a single pan since I've never shopped for such things. I'm officially won over now. This pan was definitely worth the money. It distributes the heat beautifully, doesn't let anything stick, and makes it super easy to cook larger amounts of your favorite recipes for crowds. Plus, just like the lady herself, you can make the sauce for your pasta course for 6 people or so and then toss it all together in the same pan. And yes guys - if your wife or girlfriend actually loves to cook a pan like this is not only an acceptable but a wonderful present for her.

"Perfect size for a family!" 2009-07-18
By A. Taylor (West Boynton, FL)
I absolutely love this pan! The size is perfect for fixing family size meals and less mess because I have room in the pan to do what I need without slopping and spilling all over my stove! Best of all, it's non-stick...means less to no oil needed! Great for pasta dishes and my family's fav, Chicken Marsala! I would recommend this pan to anybody who has a family! Finding storage space is a challenge! I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't heat as evenly as I would like. Most of the heat stays in the middle of the pan and very little around the edges.

"Ruined my wife's Mothers day - rebate company bankrupt - leaking sauce pot where handle connects." 2009-05-09
By A. Sober
My wife wanted this set for Mother's day and such decided to order it a week or so ago. It arrived today. We unpacked it and read over the care instructions, etc. Just moments ago she decided to boil some eggs in the small deep sauce pot. Moments into the boil we hear this sizzling and popping coming from our ceramic stove top and there is a leak coming from the handle where it's riveted to the pot making filling the pan any deeper than where the handle attaches impossible. Despite it being a Saturday I tried the 800-214-8369 customer relations number at the bottom of the LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY card to see if by some small miracle a person might answer. NOPE. The recorded announcement began with how the rebate company the manufacturer used has filed for bankruptcy and that they were sorry for any inconveniences. Eventually I ended up with an option to select for warranty work if you felt you received a defective product..hmmm, you think. They give you an address and I have to assume we must pay to ship the defective item back to them. Nothing is stated about shipping cost reimbursement. Later in the recording there was an option to speak to a customer service representative, selecting that option led to yet another recording that the offices were closed. It appears there is a quality control issue with this set based on other reviews and it doesn't appear rebates will be honored. Not the best first impression of our Rachael Ray product. We'll test the rest of items for leaks and if this is the only one leaking we'll request a new pot be sent out with a prepaid shipping label to send the defective one back, otherwise the entire set is going back. HUGE INCONVENIENCE!!!

I purchased these pans, which I love back Nov 2008. It is May 2009 and I'm still waiting for the $20 rebate. I call the company and each time I'm told it is being sent on a date that is in two weeks. I've now been told this 6 times. I have until May 17, this time.

 "WONDERFUL SET!" 2009-05-05
By Wickiup (Eugene, OR USA)
I ordered this same set from JCPenney in January 2009 for $200 including shipping. Fortunately, I had about $180 worth of gift cards that needed to be used. I love everything about this set, especially the grippy handles. They are wonderful! I wasn't too sure, at first, whether I really wanted a nice set of pots and pans that had orange handles but it hasn't bothered me one bit. (I would have preferred blue or black or most any other color.) When I bought these at Penney's, I had five prerequisites: silicone handles, a thick double bottom, stainless steel, no non-stick, and clear lids. This was the only set I could find that met my needs. These pans have a nice, thick bottom that I have noticed takes a longer time to heat up than most. However, the plus side to that is the heat is very even, once it gets hot. Things do have a tendency to stick, especially in the skillets, but if you use a little Pam spray or olive oil and then soak the pan, you will have NO trouble at all getting the pan sparkling clean again without scrubbing. The two skillets are nice sizes but I do keep one large 13" skillet around from a different set that is non-stick. The big one is perfect for one-skillet dinners or breakfasts and the two frying pans that came with this set just aren't large enough for that. This set is very well made and I expect to have it for a long time. If I had any complaints about it, the only two things I can think of are the color of the handles and the fact that one of my smaller pots leaks around where the handle is attached to the pot (only when it's cold). I left it on my counter with water in it one day and it left a puddle. The huge pot is terrific! I love the size and can make enough soup to freeze half of it if I want.

I love this set and would recommend it VERY highly.

 "Love them BUT...." 2009-08-24
By Melissa Urroz (Southern Cali)
So this set is wonderful. They cook very well and even. The food does not stick at all and they are the EASIEST pans to clean EVER.

BUT with that said... And this is all my fault not the pans... the handles can still BURN you. The silicone does not heat up on the stove top.... but I used it in the oven the other day and they did get pretty warm... now I'm a tough girl about these things and have burnt many times as I'm a culinary student So I thought I could handle warm.... I grabbed the handle... and I quickly realized that yes I can handle the silicone but NOT the metal tip at the end of the handle! Huge burn!

Completely my fault.. but just be mindfull of that.

The set is absolutely gorgeous, in fact I couldn't help but brag and show em off when my friends were over! They do scrath a little on the bottom but who cares! They work great and are probably the best set I've ever owned.

"Great pots and pans that look great too!" 2009-08-23
By Natasha Carman (Kansas USA)
I was in need of some good pots and pans and I loved rachel ray so I decided to give hers a chance. I looked at all the different ones and decided on this set because I didn't have a dishwasher. They are great pans, so far I haven't scratched the nonstick and I am pretty rough on them. They clean up in a breeze. The one thing that I have noticed is the blue outer coating has chipped in some places but I don't know if that is something that happens from wear and tear. I have had them for about a year and a half and I still use most of them everyday day and they are still great pans.

 "Perfect!!" 2009-08-17
By C. McNulty (Grand Rapids, Mi USA)
I have been talking for some time about needing new pans. We have a white stovetop and my old pans always left a black mark when used.

One of my daughters talked about purchasing one of Rachael Rays new pans and I decided to go with a complete set. The pans are wonderful and leave no marks on my stove as well as looking good. Because I had my new pans, I gave most of my old ones to my youngest daughter who was leaving for her new apt while going to school.

Being a person who has enjoyed cooking for over 30 yrs now and have had my share of

cooking at home as well as professional culinary experience in hotels, restaurants

and hospitals, I know the importance of quality, durable, functional cookware!

I purchased this Rachel Ray cookware set during the 2008 holiday season and was

very impressed and pleased with it's performance. I also purchased a few of the

accessory pots and pans to match it, and I can't say enough good things about it!

Looks good on top of everything else too!--Almost 1 yr later, hasn't failed yet.

"They are a fantastic cooking set" 2009-07-14
By Maria Concepcion Gonzalez (atlanta,ga)
This set was truly great I was skeptical in buying them since I read a couple of negative experiences some about the pans being bent others about the MEDIUM only heating. Well my set came in perfect. My two year likes to play with them and they have not scratched, bent or anything. They cook great and yes it does say to cook on medium heat only but because they condense heat so well you don't need anything higher than medium or medium high, which sometimes I'll use because I'm trying to rush things. On medium it would heat just fine. I do use siicone spoons and spatula's so they don't scratch. Also, they are fantastic because you don't have to use oil most pans cause the oil to get absorbed onto your food these don't. Last of all they are so easy to clean, you take a napkin clean it out then just wash it, not a single thing gets stuck on them. I have absolutely no negative things to say about them. I LOVE THEM!
