I bought these pots on May 9. Today is September 9, and the pots are peeling and chipping. I have NOT put them into the dishwasher. I have NOT used metal utensils. I have followed all the directions given with the pots. One pot is chipping and the non-stick lining is completely coming out. The pots came with a limited warranty. I have to pay to mail the 1 qt pot back, and pay to have it sent back to me. They will look at the pot and determine if it is shoddy workmanship or my faulty usage. I am looking at spending about $20 for this little pot, which is completely not worth it. However, it makes me nervous, thinking that the set is faulty, and I will run into other problems.
I highly recommend getting Tramontina pots. I bought a few to supplement what was missing from this set, and found them to be excellent pots. They are not thin like these ones are. They are restaurant grade pots, heating very evenly and clean up is a breeze. I am just sorry I threw out so much money on this junk. Cuisinart will not be getting any more money from me.

I recently purchased a new glass top stove. My old cheap pots and pans just wouldn't set flat on the surface and really made cooking a chore. Before I jumped to the conclusion it was the stove top to blame, I wanted to try new cookware. Stainless steel was recomended by the manufacture and I knew my brother-in-law had a set of Cusinart that he liked. I have always cooked with non-stick and was afraid to get the stainless without it. The pans are a good weight, sit flat on the glass surface, distribute heat well, and nothing sticks. The 8" and 10" fry pans have lids that can be used from other pieces so all the pans have lids. I absolutely love my Cusinart cookware and now love my new stove top as well.
